About Jamie
Emotional Intelligence Trainer | Keynote Speaker | Actor
“Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.”
~ Oscar Wilde
Jamie Honeybourne is an emotional intelligence trainer, international keynote speaker, professional actor, and one half of an award winning comedy double act. After thirty years performing on stage and screen, he now helps leaders and teams communicate with confidence, presence, and authenticity. Jamie blends the tools of acting, storytelling, humour, and EQ to transform how people show up in the moments that matter most. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, his work champions the human skills that will always matter: connection, empathy, self awareness, and the courage to speak up, stand out, and shine.
Jamie has spent much of his life fascinated by what makes people confident, compelling, and genuinely engaging to listen to. Ironically, this curiosity started because he did not feel particularly confident himself. Growing up, he experienced bullying and spent years wrestling with self doubt and imposter syndrome.
Then something surprising happened.
He found himself playing a lead in a West End musical (almost by accident) and a career in acting followed. It forced him to stand up, speak out, and perform in front of audiences. Over time he discovered that confidence is not something a lucky few are born with. It is something you practise. Something you build. A skill like any other.
Three decades on stage and screen later, Jamie now uses the tools of acting and performance to help people communicate more powerfully in the real world. Not by pretending to be someone else, but by understanding themselves better and learning how to bring more of their real personality, voice, and presence into the room.
Today he works with leaders, teams, and organisations around the world, helping them develop emotional intelligence that actually shows up in real conversations. His workshops and keynote talks are practical, interactive, and often unexpectedly fun. People do not just sit and listen. They experiment, practise, laugh a little, and usually leave seeing themselves quite differently.
Whether he is helping a senior leader command the room, supporting a nervous presenter before a big speech, or coaching a team to communicate more effectively under pressure, the goal is always the same: helping people discover what makes them unique and giving them the confidence to use it.
Alongside his work as a speaker and coach, Jamie continues to work as a professional actor and performer, with appearances in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, as well as numerous stage productions. He is also an EMCC Global accredited coach and a certified NLP practitioner.
Most importantly, he believes that communication training should never feel stiff, intimidating, or overly serious.
After all, if you cannot have a bit of a laugh while learning to speak up and stand out, what is the point?
